I am starting a new chapter of my life. People and circumstances have lead me to a place where I am now more equipped to share some of my knowledge on how eating nourishing food (and saying no to junk food), supplementing with vitamins and minerals to fill in the gaps of your diet (because these days we just do not get all the nutrients we need in our food), having a positive mindset, surrounding yourself with positive people, expressing gratitude, and regularly moving your body, can all help to set you on a path to better health and a longer healthier life free of disease.
If it were so easy to do these things I guess we would all be doing them! We make resolutions to improve ourselves in different ways and most of us falter, always coming up with an excuse. I believe, however we can succeed. With very small steps and goals, and a support system cheering us on, we can become the healthy and forward thinking person we yearn to be.
It is my wish that this Lisa’s Blog will be a place where people can feel comfortable exchanging views on health and goals. I know how important it is to have someone coaching you on and feeling part of a community and I look forward to meeting new people and helping them reach their lifestyle goals.
I am a realist and know that people can’t change overnight. In fact, trying to do it all at once can sabotage your desire to change. But, by having a vision of where you want to be in 3, 6, or 12 months, keeping that vision top of mind, and taking small, healthy steps every day, you will eventually get to that place and reach your goals. You are never too old and it is never too late to take those steps to become the person you have dreamed of becoming.
