Lavender Vinegar Household Cleaner
My favorite all-purpose cleaner
I make my own cleaner. I’m sure many can take credit for this but I found this particular recipe from The Daily Connoisseur Blog.
This cleaner is simple and cheap, it’s not harmful to yourself or the air you breathe, and it gets the job done!
I clean everything in the bathroom with it including the counter, toilet, tile floor, mirror, and even the shower doors, and everything is streak free! That’s quite a feat when you live in a town with very hard water.
I also clean the kitchen counters and my appliances. It leaves such a lovely clean scent in my house. Mix up a bottle and feel good about cleaning.
Lavender Vinegar Household Cleaner
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup distilled white vinegar
- 30-40 drops of lavender essential oil
Mix all ingredients together in a spray bottle.
Note: If you’re not a fan of the scent of lavender, you could substitute other antibacterial essential oils like tea tree essential oil, lemon essential oil, and peppermint essential oil.
